Our optometrist’s role is to detect defects in vision, signs of injury, ocular diseases (diseases of the eye) or abnormality, and problems with general health.  Additionally, they offer clinical advice regarding eye health,  vision correction, prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses. Vision Clinic Optometrists offer comprehensive eye exam testing at all our locations.

Quick Facts:

• Eye exams are covered once a year under O.H.I.P for children and youth 19 and under.
• As of Sept. 1, people aged 65 and older will be covered for one eye exam every 18 months, instead of one a year, unless they have a condition affecting their eyes such as macular degeneration, glaucoma or diabetes.
• The doctors at Vision Clinic work independently, but compliment the Vision Clinic team in managing your complete eye care needs.
• Vision Clinic also helps you offset the cost of your eye exam with the purchase of eyeglasses.
